Quality of solar shade is poor. Nothing but problems. Despite tieing down lower part of shade even with light winds upper roller turns losening shade and causing excessive slack since no locks were provided on upper rod to keep this from happening. Was told to raise shade up when wind is present. . That means every time before I leave home I have to raise shades up just incase of winds coming. This problem was not mentioned to me or are mentioned on instructions before I purchased. I called customer service and ask them to send me a return label to send shades back for a refund since I wasn't 100% satisfied. I was told a refund could not be issued because shades were special ordered. Was told to send pictures of the problem I was having so they can send a replacement. I told them I did not want the same type of shade and asked what else they had.Was told they could offer me a different shade for 50% off. I just noticed another problem with shades. Fabric is already coming unglued from rod. This is how fabric is attached to rod. With glue. If glue has to be used at least use good adhesive. I know for a fact there are good quality adhesives on the market but they choose to use cheap or the wrong adhesives.This is what happens when shades are cheaply made. This is why I requested a refund and not a replacement because of the quality of the shades & did not want any more problems . Evidently customer satisfaction doesn't apply to everyone.Beware before you purchase because you may be stuck with product whether good or bad.

The blinds are of good quality and easy to install. I would recommend them to friends and family.

Several other vendors did not make, or refused to make, roll-up external solar blinds for my application. I'm pleased to finally have discovered Select. Installation instructions were reasonably straight forward; my front porch application was a bit special which required a bit of thought, but all went well. The shade material and roller apparatus appear (and feel) to be well made. Time will tell on this. All in all, excellent product. What Blindster hath lost, SelectBlinds hath gained.

These outdoor shades are phenomenal! Not only are they pleasing to the eye, they keep the sun at bay, and really help by cutting the wind down so we can use our outdoor screened in room longer in NY! This company's customer service is the best! I had a mix-up with my order (ordered 2 indoor and the rest outdoor by mistake)....I called the company and they REMADE THE TWO BLINDS AT NO COST TO ME!! No questions asked, no problem!! I am SO impressed!! Thank you, thankyou, thank you! I will definitely order from this company again and spread their name to all my friends!! Great company!!
