Pleasantly surprised



It was our first time buying from Selectblinds so I wasn't sure what to expect. Since blinds are not cheap it is tough to pull the trigger without being able to see them first. The 100% satisfaction guarantee certainly helped to alleviate my concern. Now, when I got the blinds (basic Romans) I was very happy. Nicely made, and best part was the installation. I ordered internal mount, and there were only two screws to install! No annoying brackets! I had no idea how easy it would be. I HATE brackets, because they just never sit quite right to me. I have installed plenty of shades, and these were by far the easiest. Oh, and measuring the window was a piece if cake. We now plan on using these for the rest of our house. Lastly- our local window treatment company quoted us 5x as much for similar quality shades. You would be silly not to try SelectBlinds. And, yes, I'm a real customer :)

I would buy again, but upgrade options.



They function nicely for our vacation home, something you can't tell online is that the fabric has a distinct sheen to it that makes the shades look cheap. Be sure to order swatches. Also, I ordered the hidden draw string and wouldn't recommend it, I thought it would look cleaner but they are a hassle to pull up/down since the blind drops in front of the string.

Not exactly what I was expecting



I ordered Lifestyle Roman shades, inside mount cordless lift. Because of the small size of 2 of our bathroom windows we had to get the traditional cord lift for these. I didn't realize there would not be any kind of brackets, just screw holes in header to attach directly into wood window edge. Also the cord lift is underneath the blind. You have to reach under the blind to lift and lower the blind. This is very inconvenient and makes no sense to me. Normally a blind cord is on the outside of the blind where it can be easily reached. There are some wrinkles in fabric, still waiting for them to fall out of all the blinds. Mounting blinds was fairly easy. Not the quality I was expecting for the price paid. Pretty cheaply made. There are no returns for money back as they are all custom made, so no returns accepted. Color is exactly what I wanted. Be sure to order several samples in order to match it to what ever you want it to match. I matched mine to my window molding.

Beautiful!



This is our second time ordering from Select Blinds. Both times we have been extremely pleased with our order. The fabric and pattern of the Roman Shades are beautiful! Order and delivery were on time, if not a little early.
