Easy Install



I have been looking at the motorized skylight shades for a long time, but the reviews about installation problems and tech support problems almost turned me away. I ordered and installation was pretty easy minus being in a skylight 16' up. I watched their YouTube video and install was straight forward. My only complaint is the video showed a battery back but they are all rechargeable now and need the charger, however they let you order without a charger. Packaging for shipment was well protected.

Cape skylight



Installation was fairly easy, blind works fine, very quiet. However your video shows a battery wand with 8 batteries, but there is a single battery pack. The one I installed years ago had the battery wand. I received the solar charger and hope it works as well as the last one I installed My only complaint is difficult to reach customer service

Installation challenges



The enclosed instructions for installation are completely inadequate. The written directions and the pictures are ambiguous at best. Someone could probably install the shade if they have already installed many of these previously, but if you're trying to do this for the first time by yourself, be prepared for a high degree of frustration in having to remove and re-install almost all of the parts in figuring out how they are supposed to go together - the instructions are worthless.
