We ordered the motorized Nomad solar screen shades in paper white, and words cannot describe how happy we are with them! First of all, the instructions were easy to follow and the blinds are surprisingly easy to install. This isn’t our first purchase from selectblinds, and we are always so impressed with the overall quality and how perfectly they fit! We decided to splurge and opt for the motorized version this time- set up was clear and easy, and the function is relatively quiet (soft whirring sound when in motion) and very smooth. These shades have enough opacity to let light into the room, which keeps the room nice and bright, while keeping out the heat. For us, there was a noticeable difference in the temp of the room where these are installed. I read somewhere that the white colors provide a slightly blurred view, so we can see out during the day, but folks can’t see clearly in at night. There is some night time visibility into the house (mostly silhouettes except for light fixtures and TV which are more easily seen) but still offers a decent amount of privacy for us. Thrilled overall! We are recommending selectblinds to anyone who will listen!
