The blinds were "okay." The slats don't really stay where they're supposed to, they slide back and forth. One blind arrived with no brackets for the valance. Another arrived with the end broken off the valance. The valances are simply glued together and there is no support to keep them together. the client used a window topper over the blinds so the missing bracket and broken valance were not an issue. However, I am an interior designer and it makes ME look unprofessional when I show up to install products that are not only missing parts, but that are also broken. It also took a very long time to receive these blinds. Your delivery has been prompt in the past, but this order seemed to take forever. I will probably not use Select Blinds for my next purchase. I will probably go with Star Blinds. I've been a long-time client, but was really disappointed this time around.

I received the blinds from your company and one of them has the wrong size in length… I’m very upset because I waited more than a month to receive the blinds and one of them is not done properly.

The blinds look good. But installation of the valence was impossible. Even after we called and were shipped replacement clips, it's still impossible to installe.

  • Minimum width: 9"
  • Maximum width: 96"
  • Minimum height: 6"
  • Maximum height: 120"
  • Minimum mounting space for inside mount 1 1/8".
  • Flush mounting space required for inside mount 3".
  • Headrail size 2 1/4" x 1 1/2".
  • On outside mount blinds, the slats may shift when raising or lowering the blinds. The slats may be to be positioned back in place.
  • No Holes Privacy options is available.
  • Blinds under 24" wide cannot have same side controls, controls must be lift right and tilt left.
  • Blinds are available with cord tilt only.
  • Outside mount blinds come standard with hold down brackets.

Measuring Instructions For

Inside Mount
- Inside Mount

Width:
  • Measure the exact width (left to right) of the inside edge of the window frame in three places (top, middle and bottom).
  • Take the smallest of the three measurements.
  • Write down that size making sure that it is the first number of the measurement. This is the width you will order.
    • *production department will deduct 1/4 inch of width on each side of blind, total of 1/2 inch on inside mounted blinds to allow for mounting brackets.

Height:
  • Measure the exact height (top to bottom) from the top inside edge down to the window sill in three places.
  • Take the largest of the three measurements.
  • Write down that size making sure that it is the second number of the measurement. This is the height you will order.

Measuring Instructions For

Outside Mount
- Outside Mount

Width:
  • Measure the exact width (left to right) of the wooden or metal window frame or how wide you would like the blind to be.
  • Make sure to measure wide enough as to cover the entire window and provide maximum light gap coverage. Example: If the window opening is 36", it might be helpful to order 40". This will provide 2" coverage on each side of the window.
  • There is no rule on the width of blinds other than to make sure that it is wide enough to cover the opening.
  • Keep in mind that the valance will be about 2" wider than width ordered.
  • Write down that size making sure that it is the first number of the measurement. This is the width you will order.

Height:
  • Measure the height you would like the blind to be by measuring top to bottom.
  • We recommend adding about 3 or 4 inches to this number to insure maximum light gap coverage and to cover the window completely.
  • Please be sure to know that the height measurement will always include the headrail. Example: if the height ordered is 50" this will be the height including the headrail (from the very top of the headrail to the bottom rail).
  • You will want to mount the headrail above the window frame. Please make a note that some windows have trim that might interfere with mounting so it's important to measure above the trim if this is the case.
  • Headrail is 2.25" in height.
    • *width and length measurements may vary +/- 1/8"
