These are great, affordable custom blinds. The website does a wonderful job of walking you through measurement and ordering. Installation is a breeze! Definitely request a sample first if you have time. The colors appeared lighter on my screen.

The 2 ½” slats offer a greater view to the outside and are normally lighter in weight as the blinds don’t require many slats. Choose from a variety of stains and whites to compliment any room décor. These timeless wood blinds will last a lifetime as they are backed up with a limited lifetime warranty.

  • Headrail size 2 x 2 ¼”.
  • Minimum mounting space is 1 1/8”.
  • Flush mounting space required 3”.
  • Blinds 12” and smaller in width will have center tilt only, no lift cord.
  • Blinds 18” and smaller are only available with opposite side controls, no same side controls.
  • Cloth tape is 1 ½” wide. ¾” will show on each side.

Measuring Instructions For

Inside Mount
- Inside Mount

Width:
  • Measure the exact width (left to right) of the inside edge of the window frame in three places (top, middle and bottom).
  • Take the smallest of the three measurements.
  • Write down that size making sure that it is the first number of the measurement. This is the width you will order.
    • *production department will deduct 1/4 inch of width on each side of blind, total of 1/2 inch on inside mounted blinds to allow for mounting brackets.

Height:
  • Measure the exact height (top to bottom) from the top inside edge down to the window sill in three places.
  • Take the largest of the three measurements.
  • Write down that size making sure that it is the second number of the measurement. This is the height you will order.

Measuring Instructions For

Outside Mount
- Outside Mount

Width:
  • Measure the exact width (left to right) of the wooden or metal window frame or how wide you would like the blind to be.
  • Make sure to measure wide enough as to cover the entire window and provide maximum light gap coverage. Example: If the window opening is 36", it might be helpful to order 40". This will provide 2" coverage on each side of the window.
  • There is no rule on the width of blinds other than to make sure that it is wide enough to cover the opening.
  • Keep in mind that the valance will be about 2" wider than width ordered.
  • Write down that size making sure that it is the first number of the measurement. This is the width you will order.

Height:
  • Measure the height you would like the blind to be by measuring top to bottom.
  • We recommend adding about 3 or 4 inches to this number to insure maximum light gap coverage and to cover the window completely.
  • Please be sure to know that the height measurement will always include the headrail. Example: if the height ordered is 50" this will be the height including the headrail (from the very top of the headrail to the bottom rail).
  • You will want to mount the headrail above the window frame. Please make a note that some windows have trim that might interfere with mounting so it's important to measure above the trim if this is the case.
  • Headrail is 2.25" in height.
    • *width and length measurements may vary +/- 1/8"
