2 ½” Deep Wood Blinds are a luxurious product is made with gently rounded edges to the slats to create an elegant look. These luxurious wood blinds are made from lime wood from the Linden tree, the same type of wood used to create musical instruments. The wood is highly resistant to splitting and the 4 coat process gives a highly sealed surface that resists dust and protects against scratches. The 2 ½” slats provide a shutter look and a less obstructive view to the outside. These wood blinds come with a limited lifetime warranty and are manufactured by an Industry Partner of the American Society of Interior Designers.

Flush mounting space required for an inside mount - 3". Outside flat mounting space required - 2 1/4". Blinds 13 1/2" wide or smaller will have a center tilt only, no lift cord. Available with cord tilt only for a tighter closure of the slats. Blinds with battery operated tilt cannot have same side controls or be produced as 2 or 3 blinds on 1 headrail. 2 on 1 headrail is recommended for shades over 78" wide.

Great blinds however order process not what I expected. Took an entire month because materials were out of stock and took 3 calls until I got a manager who was helpful and she did give me great customer service, but I truly did not expect the mixed messages and confusion during the entire process.

Measuring Instructions for Wood Blinds

Width

Measure the exact width (left to right) of the inside edge of the window frame in three places (top, middle and bottom).
Take the smallest of the three measurements.
Write down that size making sure that it is the first number of the measurement. This is the width you will order.
*production department will deduct 1/4 inch of width on each side of blind, total of 1/2 inch on inside mounted blinds to allow for mounting brackets.

Height

Measure the exact height (top to bottom) from the top inside edge down to the window sill in three places.
Take the largest of the three measurements.
Write down that size making sure that it is the second number of the measurement. This is the height you will order.

Width

Measure the exact width (left to right) of the wooden or metal window frame or how wide you would like the blind to be.
Make sure to measure wide enough as to cover the entire window and provide maximum light gap coverage. Example: If the window opening is 36", it might be helpful to order 40". This will provide 2" coverage on each side of the window.
There is no rule on the width of blinds other than to make sure that it is wide enough to cover the opening.
Keep in mind that the valance will be about 2" wider than width ordered.
Write down that size making sure that it is the first number of the measurement. This is the width you will order.

Height

Measure the height you would like the blind to be by measuring top to bottom.
We recommend adding about 3 or 4 inches to this number to insure maximum light gap coverage and to cover the window completely.
Please be sure to know that the height measurement will always include the headrail. Example: if the height ordered is 50" this will be the height including the headrail (from the very top of the headrail to the bottom rail).
You will want to mount the headrail above the window frame. Please make a note that some windows have trim that might interfere with mounting so it's important to measure above the trim if this is the case.
Headrail is 2.25" in height.
