I needed a shade for a west window and wanted to completely block out the afternoon sun. Not knowing anything about solar shades, I ordered a 1% and was surprised that, while it blocks a good deal of sun, it does not block out as much as I thought it would.
However, the installation was easy and the shade is handsome, so overall I am satisfied.
Solar Screen 1% Roller Shades block 99% of harmful UV rays and provide privacy. These “room darkening shades” are ideal for bedrooms or media rooms and will complement any modern décor. Cassettes are available as an option to conceal the roller and provide a finished look. These roller shades can be ordered with continuous cord loop lift mechanism or as cordless for added safety.
