This scratch proof, moisture proof french door shutter combines the durability of vinyl with the look and feel of a traditional wood shutter. We use a Polyresin 3® material to ensure a lifetime of worry free functionality. Our custom made french door shutters also offer hidden or visible tilt rods. The shutter panel sits directly in the frame giving it a clean look. The shutters come with the appropriate extensions that can be used to ensure proper clearance for full louver operation. As with all of our products, the french door shutters come with a limited lifetime warranty.

Measure the exact width (left to right) of the inside edge of the window frame in three places (top, middle and bottom).
Take the smallest of the three measurements.
Write down that size making sure that it is the first number of the measurement. This is the width you will order.

Height:
Measure the exact height (top to bottom) from the top inside edge down to the window sill in three places.
Take the largest of the three measurements.
Write down that size making sure that it is the second number of the measurement. This is the height you will order.
Frame types and window depth requirements:
No Frame (Direct Mount)
A minimum recess depth of 2 1/4" is required for a 2 1/2" louver.
A minimum recess depth of 2 7/8" is required for a 3 1/2" louver.
A minimum recess depth of 3 1/2" is required for a 4 1/2" louver.
L Frame
A minimum recess depth of 2 1/4" is required for a 2 1/2" louver.
A minimum recess depth of 2 7/8" is required for a 3 1/2" louver.
A minimum recess depth of 3 1/2" is required for a 4 1/2" louver.
Trim Frame
A minimum recess depth of 1 3/8" is required for a 2 1/2" louver
A minimum recess depth of 2" is required for a 3 1/2" louver.
A minimum recess depth of 2 5/8" is required for a 4 1/2" louver.
A minimum wall area of 1 3/8" all the way around the window opening is required.
Measuring Instructions For
- Outside Mount
Outside mount shutters are mounted on the wall, on molding or beyond molding and require at least 1 3/8” of flat surface to properly install the frame.
Width:
Measure the width (left to right) of the inside edge of the glass area including any molding around the glass in three places (top, middle, and bottom).
Take the largest of the three measurements and add 1 3/8" per frame side (2 3/4" total).
Example: If the window opening is 36", order 38 3/4". This will provide 1 3/8” coverage on each side of the window.
Write down that size making sure that it is the first number of the measurement. This is the width you will order.
Height:
Measure the height(top to bottom) of the inside edge of the window frame in three places (left, middle, and right).
Take the largest of the three measurements and add 1 3/8" per frame side (2 3/4" total).
Example: If the window opening is 36", order 38 3/4". This will provide 1 3/8” coverage on each side of the window.
