My Roman Shades are all what I was expecting them to be, the appearance, the fabric, good job making them, neat and well done. They look so beautiful at my windows. I like the down up/up down effect. They were not hard to install. I think the price is reasonable. I love them. They were delivered on time. I surley will purchase from Direct Blinds again.

I really love the textured floral material and it matches very well with the accessories in my den. The only problem I have is that one of the cords to lift the shades is very tight and kind of hard to turn when lifting the shades. That is my only complaint, otherwise I love them.

These blinds are gorgeous! We were building a new house and as soon as the windows were in, I began ordering the window treatments. As they would come, I would take them out and look at the beautiful fabric and look forward to when I could actually see them hanging. Well, we are now in our home and the windows are beautifully adorned with roman shades in three different colors that blend perfectly with the paint we selected. We love these shades and get compliments on them from everyone who visits.

Floral Roman Shades are the perfect design choice for that traditional look. These are the same Roman Shades that have been seen exclusively on ABC’s Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. Accept no substitutes. Roman Shades in general add a certain elegance to any room, and the SelectBlinds Floral Roman Shades go one step further by giving a more traditional curtained look. Our Floral Roman Shades can be ordered in 3 different fold styles. Your price includes either the Flat Fold or Classic Fold style. The generously overlapping Hobbled style fold is also available.

  • Multiple shade orders of different heights may not have the same size pleats. It is always recommended to order all shades using the longest length in the room.
  • Shades over 50" wide will have vertical seams.
  • 1" x 1" L Brackets standard for outside mount.
  • Pull cord is half the finished height of shade.
  • Headrail is pre-drilled for easy installation for inside mount.
  • Fabric color can vary from one dye lot to another. To ensure that all materials are from the same dye lot, please order at the same time.
  • Flush mounting space required for inside mount 2".
  • Minimum mounting space required for inside mount is 1 1/4".
  • Outside mount shades ordered with top down bottom up and continuous cord loop will be 1" wider than the width ordered.
  • Shades with top down bottom up come standard with a 6” valance to conceal controls.
  • Shades under 24” wide and over 71” wide are not available with top down bottom up option.
  • Shades under 24” wide are not available with top down bottom up option.

Inside Mount
- Inside Mount

All roman shades except Fusion
Width:
  • Measure the exact width (left to right) of the inside edge of the window frame in three places (top, middle and bottom).
  • Take the smallest of the three measurements.
  • Write down that size making sure that it is the first number of the measurement. This is the width you will order.
  • Factory will deduct 3/8" on all inside mount orders to ensure a proper fit.
    • *Finished dimension for shade will be 3/8" less ordered width.<br/>If Valance is ordered, it will be 1/8" less ordered width. Must have 3 ½" depth for flush mount.

Height:
  • Measure the exact height (top to bottom) from the top inside edge down to the window sill in three places.
  • Take the largest of the three measurements.
  • Write down that size making sure that it is the second number of the measurement. This is the height you will order.
  • Multiple shades with different lengths may not have the same size pleats. It is always recommended to order all shades using the longest length in the room.
Fusion Shades
Width:
  • Measure the exact width (left to right) of the inside edge of the window frame in three places (top, middle and bottom).
  • Take the smallest of the three measurements.
  • Write down that size making sure that it is the first number of the measurement. This is the width you will order.
  • Factory will deduct 3/8" less ordered width.

Height:
  • Measure the exact height (top to bottom) from the top inside edge down to the window sill in three places.
  • Take the largest of the three measurements.
  • Write down that size making sure that it is the second number of the measurement. This is the height you will order.
  • Height may vary by 1/8" – 1 1/2" longer than ordered drop.

  • Measure the exact width (left to right) of the wooden or metal window frame or how wide you would like the blind or shade to be.
  • Make sure to measure wide enough as to cover the entire window and provide maximum light gap coverage. Example: If the window opening is 36", it might be helpful to order 40". This will provide 2" coverage on each side of the window.
  • There is no rule on the width of blinds other than to make sure that it is wide enough to cover the opening.
  • Write down that size making sure that it is the first number of the measurement. This is the width you will order.

Height:
  • Measure the height you would like the blind to be by measuring top to bottom.
  • We recommend adding about 3 or 4 inches to this number to insure maximum light gap coverage and to cover the window completely.
  • Please be sure to know that the height measurement will always include the headrail. Example: if the height ordered is 50" this will be the height including the headrail (from the very top of the headrail to the bottom rail).
  • You will want to mount the headrail above the window frame. Please make a note that some windows have trim that might interfere with mounting so it's important to measure above the trim if this is the case.
