I ordered OUTSIDE MOUNT Blinds to be cut at 37 1/2 inch wide--instead your company cut them at 36 inches wide! They were NOT supposed to make any deductions when cutting for outside mount blinds--these blinds don't even cover my window. This is the 2nd messed up order from your company. It is very disappointing dealing with you.
these blinds look great, were easy to install, but not very durable. They get stuck, and don't roll all the way. You have to treat them VERY carefully. But they were by far the cheapest on line, so I guess you get what you pay for!
I have called on multiple occassions regarding returning or opions for alleviating the problem I have described to customer service and I have yet to recieve a return call back. I am still waiting to hear back from someone to find out what they can or cannot do. I bought 2 roller shades on one order and three other on another order and when all hung togehter they dont flow. three are cut on a differnt bias than the other two. I ordered the wave on the bottom and 2 of the 5 are cut at top of wave and the other 3 are cut at bottom of wave. They dont look right when next to each other. I have called and sent photos to select blinds per the request of customer service and I have not heard back.
Unlike my earlier purchases of 3/8' double-cell room darkening blinds these roller shades were a mixed bag. One was partially defective, rolling only with great effort and a grinding feel. The other was OK, but didn't have a quality feel. I'll replace them with the cellulars as soon as I can afford it.
I installed these using the supplied inside-mount mounting brackets in my son's room. I think that the brackets don;t get hidden very well and in trying to make them fit as many situations as they can, they look a little obtrusive.
For some reason the screws supplied are very difficult to work with even with a hex head driver. Use sheet rock screws and save yourself a lot of time.
Two of the four roller shades "creep" over to the side when raised and are fraying on the edge. I see nothing wrong with the installation. These will need to be replaced eventually.
The snap in roller system is great, these shades will not be falling down like their predecessors.
The clutch type chain pull shade mechanism is great, but the "chain" is plastic and looks a little cheap.
