SelectBlinds' Blackout Roller Shades are manufactured from durable and easy to care for polyester with a white vinyl fiberglass laminated backing. Our roller window shades can be ordered to roll up with a cordless spring mechanism or continuous cord loop. Order samples to ensure you are getting the color you want. Products come with 12" of extra fabric to conceal the roller. Do not attempt to account for fabric deductions by changing measurements on inside mount shades. Polyester fabric with pure vinyl backing. We recommend shades over 80" in width be ordered as continuous cord loop mech only. Roller shades wider than 73" and longer than 72" may have a seam in the fabric. Minimum mounting space for an inside mount - 1". Required space for a flush inside mount - 3". Fabric deduction on inside / outside mount continuous cord lift: 7/8" on cord side, 1/2" on opposite side. Fabric Deduction on inside/outside mount and cordless spring lift: 5/8" on each side.

I love this room darkening blinds, when necessary, they block all the sunlight in my media room. Glare is really bad since room has 4 big windows. One blind arrived damaged but contact Select Blinds and they had a replacement sent within one week....with no hassle!

These did just what i needed and look great on the window. The scalloped edge made it a little more "fancy" and the street light that has been shining into my bedroom window is now blocked out.

Width

Measure the exact width (left to right) of the inside top edge of the window frame.
Write down that size making sure that it is the first number of the measurement. This is the width you will order.

Measure the exact width (left to right) of the wooden or metal window frame or how wide you would like the blind or shade to be.
Make sure to measure wide enough as to cover the entire window and provide maximum light gap coverage. There is no rule on the width of blinds other than to make sure that it is wide enough to cover the opening.
Write down that size making sure that it is the first number of the measurement. This is the width you will order.
