Overall, the Sheer Weave roller shades are a great product. As they state, these are not really privacy blinds however they do provide good sun blocking. When outside and looking in to a lit room at night, you can easily see shapes and silhouettes with both the 3000 and 5000 (the 5000s certainly offer more privacy though). Overall, these are a good product which I'd recommend.

We are very pleased with our blinds with one exception... the bead chain was not long enough for us to attach to the wall with the hardware provided. Other than that minor issue, the shades are great. They filter the light wonderfully while still allowing us to see outside.

When we rehabbed our travel trailer, the windows were such odd sizes that this custom site was the best option and they were perfect! We ordered this roller shade with cassette. The sheer weave is definitely sheer, so you see out (and in) through the blind, but they cut the glare of the sun. We got these for our office where we have a nice backyard view, but the southern exposure blinds us from looking at the computer screen most of the day, so these cut out the glare perfectly without blocking the view. The construction is very well done, the cassette is covered in the same fabric as the one we chose for the shade - the cassette gives it a great polished off look. My only complaint was that the tension device(optional) that holds the cord is a cream color when the cord and shade are dark colored, so it didn't match. I called the company and they said they only have cream colored ones and suggested that we try spray painting the tension device, which we did (using a spray paint for plastic) and it looks great.
