We just installed a beautiful new kitchen. After much consideration, I determined that the large window over my sink needed something that could withstand moisture and could be easily cleaned. Since it would only be down when I needed the sun blocked, I decided to use a vinyl roller shade, then realized it would be impossible to grab and pull down. The vinyl roller shade, inside mount, reverse-roll with the chain lift cord is exactly what needed. I've planned to top the window with a valance, but haven't had time, yet, and with the reverse-roll, the "bare" roller shade just sort of disappears at the top of the window. Delivery was fast. Installation was no problem and it performs exactly as I'd hoped. What a great value, too. THANKS, selectblinds.com.

The Reminiscent roller shades are top quality, heavy vinyl, textured, not shiny - just great After installing them in one bedroom, decided to go ahead and put them in another. When I ordered, I made the mistake of not selecting "spring" type, so it defaulted to "chain". When they came, I called customer service and was told since they are custom-made, they are not returnable, bu the Rep would check to see if they could be converted and he would call back. Within 2 days he called & spring-type could be converted to change, but not vice-versa. He said he could offer a discount on a reorder. Within 2 more days, I received an e-mail offering a 40% reduction on the reorder! I still haven't decided if I will reorder or install the chain style to see if I like them (maybe better), but it's nice to know an accomodation was made for MY mistake - THANKS!!
These were purchased for the spare bedroom. It was important that they were clean and simple, were affordable, and that they kept the bright morning sun out of my guest's eyes. All three conditions were met.
I also discovered the added bonus that (when closed) these blinds do a wonderful job of keeping the hot summer rays out, and keeping this upstairs room cool.
It was very easy to order these shades and were received in a timely manner. Installation was a snap.
