SelectBlinds.com Donates to CBS Early Show's "Week of Wishes"
Company Expands Contributions to Hurricane Katrina Relief Efforts
Phoenix, AZ (Nov. 29, 2005) - SelectBlinds.com, one of the Internet's leaders in window treatments, provided additional support to CBS Early Show's "Week of Wishes," the week of November 21, 2005 as part of the company's on - going efforts to help those in need.
The "Week of Wishes" granted wishes big and small to people who were displaced due to Hurricane Katrina. SelectBlinds.com donated blinds for new living spaces for three special families. The families include a group of jazz musicians who will be bringing back the music to New Orleans, a Biloxi firefighter whose fifth - generation home was destroyed from the natural disaster and a New Orleans school teacher who was relocated to Baton Rouge. Over the next several months, the company will be working with builders and the new homeowners to fit five homes with blinds from the superior line of custom-made window blinds and shades found at SelectBlinds.com.
"When we learned of the stories written to the 'CBS Early Show,' we wanted to be a part of this incredible effort," said Al Silverberg, President/CEO of SelectBlinds.com. "We were happy to assist those who need it most."
