Sonoma Blackout No-Holes Pleated Shades features no holes in the front of the fabric to provide privacy and light blockage unlike any other pleated shades. This is achieved by stinging the cords through an innovative tab on the back of the shade. The dozen colors available in this line feature crisp pleats that resist drooping and sagging. These blackout pleated shades will reduce ultra-violet penetration by 95%. The Sonoma Blackout Shades are ideal for bedrooms, however when light is desired the shades stack up tight for a maximum view-through. As with all of our products, the blackout pleated shades come with a limited lifetime warranty.

I needed a blind for a very large window. 101 inches. It was recommend that I have two blinds for one headrail, because of the weight. I took their advice and now I have about 1/2 space inbetween my shades. I understood there would be a space, just didn't expect it to be that wide. I still really like the blinds and would buy from this company again.

Love the look. They very heavy and when raised they make a loud scraping noise. The strings are very thin for a large size shade.

The hoies (where the strings hang)in one of the blinds are not where they should be, so they don't hang straight, they are closer to the right side than the left, so the edges are unequal and don't look great. We didn't open them up until 3 weeks after they came, so there is nothing we can do about it. It is our fault for not opening them up sooner.<br>There are also rub lines on the head rail from shipping on the same blind that show.

Measure the exact width (left to right) of the inside edge of the window frame in three places (top, middle and bottom).
Take the smallest of the three measurements.
Write down that size making sure that it is the first number of the measurement. This is the width you will order.
*Headrail will be made 1/4" less than width ordered, including endcaps. Fabric will be made 3/8 inch less than width ordered.
Height
Measure the exact height (top to bottom) from the top inside edge down to the window sill in three places.
Take the largest of the three measurements.
Write down that size making sure that it is the second number of the measurement. This is the height you will order.
*width and length measurements may vary +/- 1/8"
Width
Measure the exact width (left to right) of the wooden or metal window frame or how wide you would like the blind or shade to be.
Make sure to measure wide enough as to cover the entire window and provide maximum light gap coverage. Example: If the window opening is 72", it might be helpful to order 76". This will provide 2" coverage on each side of the window.
There is no rule on the width of blinds other than to make sure that it is wide enough to cover the opening.
Write down that size making sure that it is the first number of the measurement.
Fabric will be made at ordered width and headrail will be ordered width plus ¼".
Height
Measure the height you would like the blind to be by measuring top to bottom.
We recommend adding about 3 or 4 inches to this number to insure maximum light gap coverage and to cover the window completely.
You will want to mount the headrail above the window frame. Please make a note that some windows have trim that might interfere with mounting so it's important to measure above the trim if this is the case.
*width and length measurements may vary +/- 1/8"
