I ordered two blinds a beige one and a black one. The beige blind was great had no issues and looks great very pleased. The black blind was an other story. When I removed blind from plastic there was a dent in middle of blind from where card board was strapped to side of box. I had to use pliers to straighten out because it would not fit flush to top of window. One of the stings which control blinds was broken in half and had to tie string to plastic clip. I did not get enough screws to attach blind holders....not too pleased with this one. It took me a few weeks to actually hang blinds so that is why it has taken me this long to complain.
We needed 2" blinds for a theatre production and budget is a concern. These were the least expensive 2" blinds that we could find. While the pricing (during a sale) on the website was misleading, the overall value wasn't bad. Turn around time was good and the product arrived as ordered. What I don't like is that for the size of the blinds (2" slats, 32"w x 92"h, 4 sets) the cords are rather small. I know they are strong enough, but aesthetically, I'd rather have a larger cord. The bottom slats have plastic caps on the ends that don't stay on. Of the 4 sets of blinds, only one package had instructions and I didn't find them until opening and installing the other three sets. Good thing I knew how to install blinds. Would have been nice to either have the one packaged clearly marked that it had instructions or if they instructions were in the box, but not packed inside the blinds... But so far so good. They work and look like what we expected...
This was my second order from Selectblinds and again I was blown away! Our garage is finished and has two windows which I thought needed something to dress them up but not make them too girly because that is where my husband goes to "tinker". I love the blinds; they look great and were easy to install. The only problem was in the shipping. The blinds kept arriving bent in the middle of the header. We finally received blinds that had only a small bend in the header, but operated fine, and the cover piece hid the bent part.
My husband and I are not "handy" people, so we were afraid to order from a website...but perfect fit and easy to install!
