Love the look and ease of cordless blinds. Although I am still trying to settle an issue with the fit/construction of one of the four that I purchased. They made it slightly too short and the cords are pulling out of bottom. I would order again from here, since I have confidence that this problem will be corrected to my satisfaction...

Beautiful look and operation. However, the mounting brackets for inside mount blinds do not allow the blinds to be mounted flush with the outside window edge. Blinds will stick out about 1 1/2 inches which makes it necessary to order the valances with
returns in order to have a completely finished look. Customer service was diligent in trying to resolve the issue with the manufacturer on our behalf (I sent lots of pictures of the problem with the mounts). Still, we love how bright our rooms can be without
letting in direct rays from the sun and how easy these are to raise and lower - with no strings attached! (pun intended). Thanks SelectBlinds - we'll be back for more.

Description

The NEW Cordless Faux Wood Blinds feature a 1 1/2 inch slat for a streamlined look and easy operation. These cordless blinds offer the safety benefits of a cordless product by eliminating the lift cords. The blind is operated by pushing on the bottom rail to raise it and pulling on the bottom rail to lower it. These cordless blinds come standard with left tilt wand and a 3 inch crown valance to conceal the metal headrail. As with all of our products these cordless faux wood blinds come standard with a limited lifetime warranty.

Measuring Instructions For

Inside Mount
- Inside Mount

Width:
  • Measure the exact width (left to right) of the inside edge of the window frame in three places (top, middle and bottom).
  • Take the smallest of the three measurements.
  • Write down that size making sure that it is the first number of the measurement. This is the width you will order.
    • *production department will deduct 1/4 inch of width on each side of blind, total of 1/2 inch on inside mounted blinds to allow for mounting brackets.

Height:
  • Measure the exact height (top to bottom) from the top inside edge down to the window sill in three places.
  • Take the largest of the three measurements.
  • Write down that size making sure that it is the second number of the measurement. This is the height you will order.

Measuring Instructions For

Outside Mount
- Outside Mount

Width:
  • Measure the exact width (left to right) of the wooden or metal window frame or how wide you would like the blind to be.
  • Make sure to measure wide enough as to cover the entire window and provide maximum light gap coverage. Example: If the window opening is 36", it might be helpful to order 40". This will provide 2" coverage on each side of the window.
  • There is no rule on the width of blinds other than to make sure that it is wide enough to cover the opening.
  • Keep in mind that the valance will be about 2" wider than width ordered.
  • Write down that size making sure that it is the first number of the measurement. This is the width you will order.

Height:
  • Measure the height you would like the blind to be by measuring top to bottom.
  • We recommend adding about 3 or 4 inches to this number to insure maximum light gap coverage and to cover the window completely.
  • Please be sure to know that the height measurement will always include the headrail. Example: if the height ordered is 50" this will be the height including the headrail (from the very top of the headrail to the bottom rail).
  • You will want to mount the headrail above the window frame. Please make a note that some windows have trim that might interfere with mounting so it's important to measure above the trim if this is the case.
  • Headrail is 2.25" in height.
    • *width and length measurements may vary +/- 1/8"
