We needed blinds for our 60's Ranch home. We are updating it to sell, and didn't want to spend a lot of money on the window treatments. We had to order outside mounts due to the old style windows, and they are perfect. The only hitch was the spacer blocks weren't included with the order so we had to wait a week for the spacers to arrive before we could hang the blinds.

I LOVE my blinds!!! I measured the window opening myself (30 yr old female) chose the color (which I must say getting a FREE sample really made things easy as far as matching the color - without this service I wouldn't have ordered fearing the color would be wrong SO no worries here!!!) I ordered them which was also REALLY easy, then I waited for them to get here. Once they arrived (they packaged it as if it were in a war zone so when I finally got it open they were in perfect condition! My husband did the installation and said it was easy to do. They look so beautiful! My office (which is what I bought them for) looks so classy now! AND did I mention I LOVE my blinds!!!!!!!!! The 2" Priority Faux Wood Blinds are the best value in a 2” blind. These faux blinds are available in 4 popular colors, and come with a 2.5" crown valance. The cord tilt allows for a tighter closure of the slats. As with all of our products, these wood blinds come with a limited lifetime warranty.

Measuring Instructions For

Inside Mount
- Inside Mount

Width:
  • Measure the exact width (left to right) of the inside edge of the window frame in three places (top, middle and bottom).
  • Take the smallest of the three measurements.
  • Write down that size making sure that it is the first number of the measurement. This is the width you will order.
    • *production department will deduct 1/4 inch of width on each side of blind, total of 1/2 inch on inside mounted blinds to allow for mounting brackets.

Height:
  • Measure the exact height (top to bottom) from the top inside edge down to the window sill in three places.
  • Take the largest of the three measurements.
  • Write down that size making sure that it is the second number of the measurement. This is the height you will order.

Measuring Instructions For

Outside Mount
- Outside Mount

Width:
  • Measure the exact width (left to right) of the wooden or metal window frame or how wide you would like the blind to be.
  • Make sure to measure wide enough as to cover the entire window and provide maximum light gap coverage. Example: If the window opening is 36", it might be helpful to order 40". This will provide 2" coverage on each side of the window.
  • There is no rule on the width of blinds other than to make sure that it is wide enough to cover the opening.
  • Keep in mind that the valance will be about 2" wider than width ordered.
  • Write down that size making sure that it is the first number of the measurement. This is the width you will order.

Height:
  • Measure the height you would like the blind to be by measuring top to bottom.
  • We recommend adding about 3 or 4 inches to this number to insure maximum light gap coverage and to cover the window completely.
  • Please be sure to know that the height measurement will always include the headrail. Example: if the height ordered is 50" this will be the height including the headrail (from the very top of the headrail to the bottom rail).
  • You will want to mount the headrail above the window frame. Please make a note that some windows have trim that might interfere with mounting so it's important to measure above the trim if this is the case.
  • Headrail is 2.25" in height.
    • *width and length measurements may vary +/- 1/8"
