The blinds are beautiful, it's worth the extra $ for the liner. I can't believe what a difference it made in the temperature of our room. Shipping took a while but probably because I ordered them on Dec. 23rd. they arrived 1st week of Jan.They were well made & easy to install. I am very pleased with this purchase & will buy from SB again.

The cords tangle easily. I'm not sure if there was an upgrade for this for the top/down bottom/up blinds or not. Something I'd try to address for future shades.

these blinds are constructed well and definately worth the purchase price. very easy to install, most home owners can do-it themselves.

The price was good but the constructions was poor. The third day of having these, one of the cords came apart. I called several times over the next two to three weeks to get fixed. Finally someone emails me a return. Communication POOR! I guess you get what you pay for.

Whether called Woven Wood Shades or Woven Wood Blinds, this product line brings the beauty of nature indoors, and provides insulation against summer's heat and winter's cold. These two factors combine to make this window covering a beautiful and practical choice. Our Woven Wood Shades are made in the roman fold style. Mechanisms are mounted to a wood headrail and covered by a matching valance. All shades come with a 7" standard valance. The valance adds to the finished appearance and completely covers the control mechanisms. As with all of our products these shades do come with a Limited lifetime warranty and free shipping.

Measuring Instructions For

Inside Mount
- Inside Mount

Width:
  • Measure the exact width (left to right) of the inside edge of the window frame in three places (top, middle and bottom).
  • Take the smallest of the three measurements.
  • Write down that size making sure that it is the first number of the measurement. This is the width you will order.
    • *production department will deduct 1/4 inch of width on each side of blind, total of 1/2 inch on inside mounted blinds to allow for mounting brackets.

Height:
  • Measure the exact height (top to bottom) from the top inside edge down to the window sill in three places.
  • Take the largest of the three measurements.
  • Write down that size making sure that it is the second number of the measurement. This is the height you will order.

Measuring Instructions For

Outside Mount
- Outside Mount

Width:
  • Measure the exact width (left to right) of the wooden or metal window frame or how wide you would like the blind or shade to be.
  • Make sure to measure wide enough as to cover the entire window and provide maximum light gap coverage. Example: If the window opening is 36", it might be helpful to order 40". This will provide 2" coverage on each side of the window.
  • There is no rule on the width of blinds other than to make sure that it is wide enough to cover the opening.
  • Write down that size making sure that it is the first number of the measurement. This is the width you will order.

Height:
  • Measure the exact height (top to bottom) from the top inside edge down to the window sill in three places.
  • We recommend adding about 3 or 4 inches to this number to insure maximum light gap coverage and to cover the window completely.
  • You will want to mount the headrail above the window frame. Please make a note that some windows have trim that might interfere with mounting so it's important to measure above the trim if this is the case.
    • *width and length measurements may vary +/- 1/8"
