I ordered my shades because a relative bought shades for his entire house and was very pleased. I, too, am very happy with my bamboo shades. The fit couldn't be any better and the value for the money is incredible. I priced the same shade at two well known companies. The samples came quickly and were so helpful in choosing just the right style. The people taking the orders were very knowledgable and helpful. My partner is an interior designer. Using the samples sent to us he found the perfect bamboo shades to match our decor. Our windows in our open floor plan look fine before - but now the new shades really pull the dining and living rooms together! Blinds are a good quality and were delivered in a timely manner. My only complaint is that the video instructing you on how to measure does not mention anything about checking the depth of your window. Make sure you do this. I didn't and ended up having to cut the top of the header in half with a Jigsaw.

The South Pacific Shades offer unique characteristics, which include variances in color, tone and texture that allows them to be chosen for any decor. Different weaves or grasses add beauty to this natural wood Collection. Shades come standard with a Roman Fold and a 7” valance can be added at no additional cost for a complete finished look. In addition, there are 20 distinctive colors available. As with all of our products, these shades come with a limited lifetime warranty.

Specifications

  • Minimum width: 10"
  • Maximum width: 96"
  • Minimum height: 12"
  • Maximum height: 120"
  • 1/2" deduction is taken on all inside mount orders to allow for all hardware and ensure a proper fit.
  • Shades ordered as outside mounts will arrive at the ordered width dimension.
  • Because of the natural fiber composition of this product stretching and or shrinkage may occur. Therefore there is a tolerance of + or - 1 1/2" in length of all shades.
  • Minimum depth for inside mount and flush mount for standard shade = 2 1/4".
  • Minimum depth for a flush mount with the continuous cord loop option = 4 1/4".
  • Headrail Dimensions = 1 1/2" x 3/4", oversize headrail - 2 3/4" x 3/4" ( all shades ordered with cc-loop will be on oversized headrail.
  • Valance returns standard with outside mount shades, 1 3/4" W x 7" H.
  • When 2" edge binding is selected 1" of fabric will show on each side of shade. When 4" edge binding is selected 2" of fabric will show on each side of shade.
  • Privacy and blackout liners will be white to the outside, the liner color will show on the inside facing side.
  • Pleasenote:This is a natural product and colors will vary season to season.It may not be possible to match previous orders.
  • All outside mounts will come with hold down brackets

Measuring Instructions For

Inside Mount
- Inside Mount

Width:
  • Measure the exact width (left to right) of the inside edge of the window frame in three places (top, middle and bottom).
  • Take the smallest of the three measurements.
  • Write down that size making sure that it is the first number of the measurement. This is the width you will order.
    • *production department will deduct 1/4 inch of width on each side of blind, total of 1/2 inch on inside mounted blinds to allow for mounting brackets.

Height:
  • Measure the exact height (top to bottom) from the top inside edge down to the window sill in three places.
  • Take the largest of the three measurements.
  • Write down that size making sure that it is the second number of the measurement. This is the height you will order.

Measuring Instructions For

Outside Mount
- Outside Mount

Width:
  • Measure the exact width (left to right) of the wooden or metal window frame or how wide you would like the blind or shade to be.
  • Make sure to measure wide enough as to cover the entire window and provide maximum light gap coverage. Example: If the window opening is 36", it might be helpful to order 40". This will provide 2" coverage on each side of the window.
  • There is no rule on the width of blinds other than to make sure that it is wide enough to cover the opening.
  • Write down that size making sure that it is the first number of the measurement. This is the width you will order.

Height:
  • Measure the exact height (top to bottom) from the top inside edge down to the window sill in three places.
  • We recommend adding about 3 or 4 inches to this number to insure maximum light gap coverage and to cover the window completely.
  • You will want to mount the headrail above the window frame. Please make a note that some windows have trim that might interfere with mounting so it's important to measure above the trim if this is the case.
    • *width and length measurements may vary +/- 1/8"
