We have a large, somewhat unusual picture window. The sun sets through this window, so we needed window coverings. We tried blinds friends had given us, but the cord was too short for us to get it all the way down, plus too much light came through--doing virtually nothing to block light.
My husband had a vision for blinds for this window--and he's said these are exactly what he envisioned. We paid for the center draw, which he also wanted, and it's exactly the right thing for this window. We love them! His only comment was on installation--a little trickier than he thought it would be.
