The 5 stars for "value" are based on only a little market sleuthing. But I'm sure about all the others. They are excellent blinds. They look great and so far work very well. My friends like them and so did the handyman who installed them.

I ordered these shades from Selectblinds because I couldn't beat their prices anywhere else. I'm a bargain shopper and consider myself quite resourceful when it comes to finding the best prices online. These shades were purchased for my dining room and they matched the color depicted on the website completely! They suggest you order the swatches prior to ordering to ensure it's the color you want; however, I did that after the fact (they arrived by FedEx within 2 days!) as I was contemplating buying more for the rest of my windows. You won't find a better price and the quality was amazing...except one of the plastic knobs on the end of one of the control strings wouldn't stay together, so I put a small piece of tape on it. You can't even see it. I ordered 2 separate shades and only one of the knobs was defective. They are beautiful and very easy to install. I did it myself and I am very mechanically challenged usually. It took about 20 minutes to hang both shades. I had to pre-drill the holes so my wood trim wouldn't split, but that was easy also. If you measure your windows exactly as they tell you to, they will fit perfectly, or at least mine did. I had to measure 4 or 5 times as I kept getting different results, but that's just me... You will be very pleased with these shades. I only wish that I had paid the extra $10 to get the "Top Down Bottom Up" feature to let more light in while keeping your privacy. The filtered light that comes through makes my dining room look very expensive. I am very happy with them and my friends compliment on them every time they visit. You won't be disappointed.

There were no installation instructions shipped with the blinds and the internet installation instructions were out-dated and apparently for a different eco-track design. However, once installed, the blinds seem to provide a nice air barrier and good window insulation. The quality of the draw cords could be improved.

These honeycomb blinds look so much 'cleaner' than the regular blinds we previously had. They really do help keep our place warmer when it's cold (and I'm guessing cooler when it's warm!). The top-down feature is awesome! Only complaint was that the installation instructions weren't super easy to decipher; but once we did they were a breeze to install.
