I've been looking at these Solar Shades for some time and finally went and ordered one after testing with the samples. I first hung the 'samples' on the door and tested the carpet they protected from the sun light every day. The parts that were shaded were cool to the touch! Exactly as I had hoped .. and yes they work!! I WILL be ordering another as I can't tell you how happy I am with the product. I installed it on a French door that leads to our deck that faces the west. The sun that came into that room/ from the glass in the doors heated the room so that even the AC didn't feel it was working as it should. Problem solved with this shade. I am now going to order another shade for the other door. ( I wanted to 'try' one first) Love love LOVE this shade. Thank you .. as I said .. it is PERFECT.
