We purchased these vertical fabric blinds to replace a previous purchase from another company. The previous order was a lesser product made from an oil based pvc like manufacturing process. They stunk! Literally. You can read about similar experiences with other people with these PVC-like blinds. Don't buy them, they're aweful! We hung them outside for three days trying to get the smell out but never got it out. We then purchased these fabric blinds from Select Blinds. Fabric blinds cost more but these worked fine. They look great, installed easily, and no stinky chemical smells!
